My very first Diorama

I know it's not really a diorama just putting some tanks of African Korps together. I did make the base by myself though. I have never made any base so it's kind of my 1st try so please bear with me if you're an expert. (Comments are very welcomed).

You're right. Actually I bought those rocks for the "n" scale railway tracks. I just think may be some parts of desert may be full of rocks rather than sands. Let me do it again if I find something smaller.

not bad for for first attemp.

i suppose what you have to really decide on is whether you are to produce simple dioramas to provide a simple backdrop for showing your tanks or you wish to provide a "museum" qaulity display (as seen in Model Armour Magazine etc)?

I have decided that for now i will just provde simple backdrops via limited effort in assembling a physical display or as is the case in a number of my shots using Adobe Photoshop or similer to merger model photographs with a simulated envrionment?

Anyway If you would like some tips of photography of Dioramas please see "Mehusla's" articale as presented by "Milke's Tanks"

No, I don't think for now I have the skill to do anything complicated but I want to make a better background for photoshots. Thanks for your advice and I think diosrama is an area I didn't touch in the past but so far I find it's very interesting. It does give the tanks a real or historical touch.
